Sonia Allan OAM CF has over twenty years of experience in research, advocacy, law reform, education, and advisory services. Trained in law, public health, psychology, and education, she brings multi-disciplinary expertise to her work. She has worked with national and international organisations in the public, private, and not-for-profit sectors. Sonia's work examines the ethical, legal, and social issues relevant to health and existing or emerging health technology. In addition, she examines how the law may be used as a tool to improve the public's health. She has developed models for responsive regulation and effective governance, policy and legislative solutions in these spaces. She has particular interests in regulatory matters related to reproductive technology, universal health care, and public and global health.
